Twisted Addiction is a Ford monster truck owned and driven by Timothy Jones since 2014. The truck mainly competes in the Toughest Monster Truck Tour.

History[]

2014[]

The truck makes its debut with Tim Jones driving. The original truck was formerly Xtreme Whiplash which had originally been the third No Problem! chassis.

2018[]

The truck received an all-new Concussion chassis, and the old one became Canadian Crusher.

2021[]

The truck started running as Tailgator and Smashosaurus after Jones had acquired the names from Doug Noelke.

2022[]

In July, Austin Minton drove the truck in Winfield, Kansas.

2024[]

The truck would celebrate ten years and debut on an all-new chassis, with Marc McDonald driving in Miami, Oklahoma. In July, Whitney Hays makes her debut in Fowlerville, Michigan. Tim's son Tripp Jones also began to drive the truck in Hays, Kansas. Austin Minton would drive the truck again in Lamar, Missouri. In September, Tripp Jones drove the truck in Odessa, Missouri. He drove it again in Wheatland, Missouri along with debuting a new body, dubbed as Twisted Addiction Big Country Edition, as a one-off tribute to long-time crew member Willy Mueller.

Trivia[]

  • In February 2023, both Josh and Ryan Holman co-drove a truck with the same name in Youngstown, Ohio due to Buckshot driver Brandon Budd being arrested prior to the event, who was slated to compete at said event.
