Following the series, Mowery continued to drive Storm Damage for the remainder of the season and later debuted his own identity, Extreme Attitude, at Larry King Law's Langley Speedway in Hampton, Virginia.

He left Natural Disaster Racing to join TK Motorsports to crew alongside his then-fiancée, Kaylyn Migues for the first quarter of 2019. Despite that, he would briefly return to the former team to drive Zombie Fire at Kansas City in June.

In 2023, Mowery drove a blue Velociraptor on Stadium Tour Red, on the Rockwell R.E.D chassis as the teammate to Mike Christensen's Vendetta. Due to his wife being pregnant, he did not compete in Miami & Tampa. Paul Jensen drove Velociraptor in Miami & Jeff Souza drove the truck in Tampa. He would finish 9th in the final standings. While at Virginia Beach, he announced his retirement from full time driving to focus on his family. He would win 2 freestyles during the weekend. However, he would make a one-off return later that year in September, driving Stone Crusher for the Hampton events for Monster Jam.
