Toyota Saltillo is a sponsor truck sponsored by the car company of the same name property of Costa Rican-based Toyota dealer Purdy Motor, which also manages Saltillo's dealer. It was formerly Toyopantesa and So High Too.
History[]
Toyota Saltillo was originally built for Costa Rica's Purdy Motor as Jurassic Truck in 1996 under a same year's Toyota Hilux, and its livery consisted in a yellow base with the "Jurassic Truck" logo on the door, along with several sponsor stickers. It was just driven once in 1996 at Autódromo La Guácima in a force-demonstration event and since then, it was shown in Paseo Colon's Purdy Motor Dealer. It was later repainted with a red livery and moved to Ciudad Toyota in La Uruca before being moved to Mexico as part of Purdy Motor's ownership over Saltillo's Toyota dealer.
