Toxic is a monster truck created by the Petri brothers in 2010 in New York. Travis Petri drove the truck for several years, and became a staple during the early Toughest Monster Truck Tour. The truck is currently driven by Cory Snyder.
History
In November 2015, Gilbert Motorsports acquired the truck.
In 2017, the truck ran on one of the Monster Jam Arena Tours under Cory Snyder.
In 2018, Jay and Cory Snyder take ownership of the truck. The truck makes its Monster Truck Throwdown debut in the summer.
In 2019, the truck is run on summer events only, outside Monster Jam.
In 2020, Cory returns full time, and Toxic makes it’s Monster Jam return, winning its first Overall Championship. A new chassis debuts, as well as a slightly modified body. It is unknown what will be of the old chassis. The truck was scheduled to make it's stadium debut at Landover, MD on June, but the event was ultimately cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Trivia
- The first truck was built as a full turn key monster truck by Dan Patrick and PEI. The second was also a full turn key built by the Metal Shop.
