Timothy C. Tesmer (June 9th, 1969-August 31st, 2022) was a monster truck driver out of Avon, Ohio. He was best known for driving Hercules and Carolina Crusher.
Career[]
Tesmer purchased the Hercules Sport from Scott Hess, when Scott went to drive Bear Foot for Fred Shafer. He would run the truck for several years, before building a tube frame truck and running Hercules. He would build two, a front engine truck and a rear engine truck. In 1994, Tim was commissioned by Gary Porter and both trucks would run as Carolina Crusher. This partnership would carry over when Gary sold the name to Paul Shafer in 2000. He would rotate between the two names through the 1990's.
Following the retirement of the Hercules name in 1998, both trucks would be used to run as Gate Keeper in addition to Carolina Crusher.
In 1999, Tesmer sold the front engine truck to Wildfire Motorsports and would come to be known as the Belly Dragger Chassis.
In 2005, Tesmer retired and sold the rear engine chassis to Joe Sylvester, which became the first Bad Habit.
Death[]
On August 31st, 2022, Tesmer passed away.
