Thomas Borders (Born April 9th, 1986) is a monster truck owner/driver out of Terre Haute, Indiana. He is the owner of Monkey Business Motorsports and driver of the team’s namesake truck, Monkey Business since 2015. He is also the announcer of the Full Throttle Monster Trucks tour.
Career[]
In 2015, Thomas debuted Monkey Business, after having converted it from the Mistress chassis that his father Don Borders owned and drove. The truck was dedicated to his late son Kaleb, who passed away in 2013 from Anaplastic Astrocytoma, a rare type of brain cancer.
In 2017, Thomas acquired and restored Orange Krate.
In 2019, Thomas drove the restored Orange Krate at the Bigfoot Open House event.
In 2020, Thomas debuted the One Bad Hombre Racer.
In 2022, Thomas’ daughter Jasmin Borders began her monster truck career, marking the first time that 3 generations of monster truck drivers performed at the same venue.
In 2023, Thomas begins driving Raybestos Powertrain. Meanwhile, Jasmin began driving Funky Monkey for her father.
