Survivor

Survivor is a 1995 Chevrolet C/K 1500 monster truck owned by Canedo Motorsports. It was originally created and driven by Chuck Jordan, who operated the truck for many years, until Tony Canedo acquired the name in 2015. Currently, the truck is driven by Ryan Fraser.

History[]

1992[]

Survivor was originally created by Chuck Jordan and began competition later that year. At the time of its debut, the truck featured a leaf spring chassis, and served as the teammate to Jordan's other truck, Dirty Dancing.

1995[]

The truck received a brand new chassis as well as an updated Chevrolet C/K 1500 body style.

2000[]

Survivor makes a televised appearance in the second show in Anaheim.

2001[]

Survivor received an alter-ego, Bi-Mart Advantage.

2007-2012[]

Survivor would continue to run on and off until 2007, when the truck as a whole was put on hiatus until 2012.

2013[]

Survivor received a new design and returned to competition.

2015[]

Survivor would be acquired by Tony Canedo, and received another new design, which is still used to this day.

2019[]

Tony's daughter Brianna Canedo would drive the truck in Auburn, California.

2022[]

Rudy Martin Del Campo would begin driving the truck full-time. Dawson Rayas drove the truck in Ridgefield, Washington and Ryan Fraser drove it in Sonora, California.

2023[]

Del Campo left the team and began driving Demo Derby. Ryan Fraser took over driving duties, where he remains today. In November, Chase Aue drove the truck in Tulare, California.

Trivia[]

After Survivor was initially placed on hiatus, there were plans to sell the entire operation to Jimmy Creten of 2Xtreme Racing. However, the plans ultimately fell through.
The truck's tailgate used to read "Martina McBride's Biggest Fan".
The truck would also, at some point, make an appearance on Jay Leno's Garage, where Jay Leno himself would drive the truck in an exhibition run at a WGAS Motorsports event.
The current design has a reflective logo.
