Strait Jacket was a Ford monster truck out of Waycross, Georgia driven by Kevin King.
History[]
Strait Jacket debuted in 2010, on the previous Iron Warrior chassis. The truck would run from 2010-2015, until it was shelved in 2016 in favor of Kevin's new truck, Fluffy (as a result of a partnership between Kevin and Fluffy himself).
The truck remained on hiatus for three years, until it returned in 2020 (due to the Fluffy partnership expiring at the end of 2019).
In 2021, the truck would run at mostly MTRL events before being sold to Eddie Como, leading to it being put back on the shelf.
Trivia[]
- As of 2025, the first chassis is sitting in Kevin's backyard, stripped.
- Multiple body parts are also hung up/lying around on Kevin's property.
- Strait Jacket for years was known for its blue tires, a feature carried over from when King drove for Sudden Impact Racing.
- Despite having been retired for three years, the truck was added to Monster Truck Destruction in 2024 as a premium purchase.
