Skull Krusher is a Chevrolet Silverado monster truck owned by Lee Plato and driven by his son, Shane Plato out of Cloverdale, California. The truck is based on the mini monster truck of the same name. The truck competes alongside its teammate, Scattered.

Background[]
Skull Krusher was originally created in 2019, when the Plato family purchased the previous Prowler chassis from Predator Racing. Following the purchase, the chassis would undergo a major rebuild by Straight Up Racing in 2020.
2021[]
The truck would make its official debut two years later on July 11, at Santa Maria Raceway in Santa Maria, California with Shane Plato behind the wheel.
2022[]
The truck runs a fourth of July scheme.
2024[]
The truck starts running a new patriotic scheme similar to the 2022 fourth of July scheme. In September, the truck starts running a 10th anniversary body which is made to resemble the mini monster truck version’s scheme.
Trivia[]
- While the original chassis is a PEI chassis, it had to go through an extensive rebuild due to its age, that the only original pieces remaining are the main rails, a section of the front, the rear and most of the cab, making the chassis virtually a brand-new SUR chassis piece.
- The truck’s original scheme features a clip art skull which features a watermark.
