Career[]
Disharoon began his monster truck career in 2014, when he debuted Saigon Shaker. He would compete exclusively in smaller, local monster truck events.
In 2015, Ryan began competing in Monster Jam, making his first appearance in the league in Detroit.
In 2016, Ryan competed in the Young Guns Shootout at Monster Jam World Finals XVII, where he would be eliminated in round 1 by Steven Sims Jr. in Pirate's Curse.
In 2017, Ryan competed in the FS1 Championship Series East, finishing eighth in the series standings. He would later compete in the Double Down Showdown at Monster Jam World Finals XVIII. During the event, he would defeat Krysten Anderson in Grave Digger in round 1, crashing in the process, but would later be defeated in the semi-finals by Eric Swanson in Obsessed.
In 2018, Ryan competed in Monster Jam Stadium Championship Series 3. In Jacksonville, monster truck veteran Cliff Thomas would drive Saigon Shaker in his place. Disharoon would go on to finish 10th in the series standings.
In 2019, Ryan competed in Monster Jam Stadium Championship Series 2 for the 2019 season. During the series, he would win two racing championships, being in the series' opening event in Tampa and Monster Jam's inaugural event in Seattle. He would also win an overall event championship in Lexington and finished eighth in the series standings.
In 2020, Ryan received a new chassis constructed for Saigon Shaker, competing in Monster Jam Stadium Championship Series Yellow. Disharoon would go on to finish 10th in the series standings. After the entire series abruptly ended in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Disharoon competed in select events for the remainder of the season.
In 2022, Ryan competed in the Monster Jam Stadium Championship Series Red. Part way through the series, a new chassis and body debuted. Ryan would win a Great Clips skills challenge in Tampa & the final freestyle of the series in Salt Lake City. He finished 9th in the standings. In September, a new ''Back the Blue'' design debuts. It has not competed.
In 2023, Ryan competed on the blue stadium tour, though his truck was renamed to Shaker, similar to how Scott Hartsock had Gunslinger switched to Slinger. At one of the Anaheim shows, Ryan won racing over Ryan Anderson in Son Uva Digger. In El Paso, Ryan got first ever stadium overall event championship at the Saturday night show. In Seattle, a slightly updated body debuts. In the skills challenge in Salt Lake City, he did a stoppie, & rode it to the wall, did a forward roll & landed in the first few rows of seats. Ryan finishes 11th in the final standings, but despite this, he made his first World Finals appearance. Saigon Shaker returned in Quarryville, Pennsylvania.
In 2024, Ryan competed on the east stadium tour, finishing 10th. At show 1 in St. Louis, he did 2 consecutive backflips, but didn't win. In Foxborough & Denver, he runs a split design, with half being the red body & the other half being the original green design. A slightly updated body is used in Philadelphia. Ryan is not scheduled to run in Monster Jam's first quarter season in 2025. The split design returns in Woodstock, Georgia.
