Robert Moore was a former crew member out of Oklahoma, who was the illegitimate third owner of Cyclops from 1988 until Terry Woodcock legally obtained the rights to the truck's name in 1995. He also illegitimately sold Undertaker (which he didn’t own) while receiving the entire sum of money from the sale.
Cyclops theft[]
In 1988, Robert illegally obtained the Cyclops mud truck from the truck's 2nd owner Gary Gardiner. He stole it on the way to a show. When legal proceedings started, he used loopholes with bookings and other paperwork to keep the truck. It would be too costly for Gary to have tried to get the truck back, so he reluctantly gave up similar to Bob Chandler and Bigfoot 9 in 1998. Robert couldn't tour the truck because it was stolen, and everyone would have found out.
In 1995, Terry Woodcock would legally obtain the rights to the name though that has been debated too as he too was a crew guy simply associated with Cyclops at the time and not directly involved until years later. No legal action would be taken against Moore.
The truck he stole was discovered in the Midwest where it was split up, sold off and would work its way to Woodcock.
Trivia[]
- Robert's motives to steal the truck are not officially known, but the likely reason was to make money.
