Ricky Ownley is a retired monster truck driver out of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. He was most famous for driving Mopar Magic and was the teammate to Steve Sims' Stone Crusher.

Career[]

He started his career by driving Grave Digger in 2002 as a fill-in for Dennis Anderson, most famously at Houston 2003 (Show 3), when Dennis was injured from a crash the weekend prior in New Orleans, and Ownley would win the racing competition in his place.

In 2OO6, he would drive Sudden Impact in Trenton, New Jersey.

He then moved on to driving Mopar Magic in 2008, and would pilot the truck until 2010, where he switched driving duties with Morgan Kane. The truck's name would then change to Monster Magic, where Bryan Wright would drive it. Carl Van Horn also drove his truck at an event in Cincinnati 2010. He retired shortly afterwards.

He returned in 2021, driving Saigon Shaker in Newark, New Jersey. He would once again drive Saigon Shaker in 2022 for the second Detroit show of Stadium Championship Series Red.
