Plane Krazy is a 1972 Chevrolet C-10 monster truck owned by Aftershock Racing and driven by Montana Robbins. It was originally driven by Bob Robbins Jr. before Montana took over. Since its debut in 2020, the truck has served as the current teammate to Krazy Train, replacing its original teammate, Aftershock. The truck has competed in various monster truck tours over the years, including Monster Truckz, Monsters N Megas, Overdrive Monster Truck Tour, Monster Truck Throwdown, Monster Jam and Versus Monster Trucks.

History[]

2020[]

The truck would make its debut with a Silverado body, with Bob Robbins Jr. behind the wheel. After a few shows, Bob's son, Montana Robbins, would take over driving duties.

2023[]

Plane Krazy would compete on the 2023 All Star Monster Truck Championship Series alongside Krazy Train. Buddy Tompkins would drive the truck for select shows in the series that Montana could not attend. The truck would place 2nd in the series. After destroying the hood in Bangor, Maine, Plane Krazy would run a mismatched early 2000's Chevrolet hood for the remainder of the 2023 season. The hood was re-used from the Carolina Crusher body that was ran in 2020, wrapped with the design that would be used in 2024. Triton Robbins would trade seats with Montana for freestyle during an Overdrive Monster Truck Tour event in Greenfield, Massachusetts. The truck and its teammate would debut and compete in that years Monster Truck Throwdown tour as well.

2024[]

Plane Krazy received a brand-new Chevrolet C-10 body and scheme, created by Dungeon Designs, and would compete on the 2024 All Star Monster Truck Championship Series. In March, Bob would drive the truck in Maryville, Tennessee, due to Montana suffering back issues. On August 2nd, the truck made its Monster Jam debut in Newark, New Jersey.

2025[]

Both Plane Krazy and Krazy Train compete in Monster Jam on the central arena tour. The truck would pick up its first overall event championship during one of the events in Evansville, but this venue was a non-points event. Montana finished 7th in the final standings. The truck will make its stadium debut in October in Syracuse.

  • The truck's name is a pun on the phrase "plain crazy".
  • In the 2025 Monster Jam yearbook, the truck's name is misspelled as "Plane Crazy".
