  • Unlike the two previous Orlando shows which featured rain, the 2006 event was dry, giving a better track condition for the drivers.
  • Indianapolis and Phoenix were shown as "Around the USHRA" segments in the broadcast.
  • This was Rob Knell's final event as a driver as he retired at the end of January.
