Nitemare was a Chevrolet Silverado monster truck owned and driven by Andy Hoffman of Hoffman Motorsports out of Indiana.

History[]

Hoffman’s incarnation of Nitemare was originally created in 1996, after he acquired the name from its previous owner, Kirk Dabney. The truck began competition later that year, originally sporting a Dodge Ram body style. It would also appear in Stuntmania later that year, where it also received an exclusive paint scheme for the occasion. Another new paint scheme would debut sometime later.

Nitemare received a new chassis and a red and yellow design for the 2002 season, featuring a Chevrolet Silverado body style while the original chassis would eventually be sold and become Shell Camino.

The truck did one show in 2003 as Under Construction.

Another new paint scheme would follow five years later. That same year, the truck would receive an alter-ego, War Wagon, which was previously acquired from its original owner, Jeff Cook. From that year onward, War Wagon would compete sporadically on the Nitemare chassis for select occasions.

In 2012, Nitemare received a brand-new black paint scheme. The truck would also compete in select Monster Jam events throughout that season, as well as the season following.

Two years later, Nitemare received a new red and yellow paint scheme, along with a new Chevrolet Silverado body style. Meanwhile, Nitemare continued to compete under Hoffman until 2021, when the chassis was sold to Colton Kiser and later converted into American Scout the following year.
