Nick Pagliarulo (born August 13th) is a monster truck driver out of Deltona, Florida. He is the driver of Kraken for Tomfoolery Motorsports. He is the son of Matt Pagliarulo, the brother of Michael Pagliarulo and Brooke Pagliarulo.
History[]
Nick made his driving debut on July 21st, 2018. His first racing win was in Crown Point, Indiana.
In 2019, Nick competed on Stadium Series 3. He would finish 12th in the standings and would be invited to compete at the World Finals XX Showdown. He would win the semi-final round race, but would be unable to return for the championship round, due to damage sustained in a crash during the race. He would win Rookie of the Year at the World Finals.
In 2020, Nick competed on Stadium Series Green and finished 10th after the series was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He would later be featured at Monster Jam's return show in Arlington.
In 2021, Nick would compete at select events.
In 2022, Nick competed on Stadium Series Red, where he notably won his first stadium freestyle in Tampa during the Sunday show. Nick also competed on Arena Series East briefly at the Louisville shows. He later received the final invite to World Finals XXI, despite finishing low (in 10th, while his father finishing two trucks below him in last). He would be one of the competitors of that event to not receive a score. Michael drove for him in Orlando in October for unknown reasons.
In 2023, Nick competed on the red stadium tour with the blue body. In Tampa, Nick won freestyle on Saturday, but was unable to compete on Sunday due to damage from a hard crash. Nick would also win freestyle in Syracuse after going first, then win freestyle in Cleveland at the last show of Stadium Tour Red. He would finish 10th in the final standings. He would not receive an invite to the World Finals, but (nevertheless), he would appear at the event as a high jump competitor. Nick would win the Crash Madness of the Year award at World Finals XXII.
In 2024, Nick was scheduled to compete on the east stadium tour, but took time off to raise his newborn baby daughter. His brother Michael drove Kraken for the January shows & also in Indianapolis in February. His truck suffered multiple mechanical issues throughout the season. He finished last in the final standings. He would be invited to compete in the World Finals Last Chance Qualifying event, where a new design would debut. He wouldn't feel well part through show 2 in Mansfield, Ohio. Chuckie Pauken would drive Kraken for the second half of the show.
In 2025, he competes on the West stadium tour in the purple Kraken. Nick finished 11th in the final standings. The blue Kraken would return for the Tampa shows. He would sweep both events in Tremonton, Utah at an independent show. At the World Finals, he displayed a stars & stripes design for Kraken, even though he didn't compete. The body made its debut, competing in Canfield, Ohio.
