Monster Trucks Wiki

Monster Magic was a 2003 Dodge Ram monster truck owned by Steve Sims of Monster Trucks Unlimited out of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The truck was created as the rebranding of Mopar Magic, which was caused due to copyright issues with Chrysler. Monster Magic originally debuted in December of 2011 under Morgan Kane, winning the racing championship at its first event, but would later be driven by Bryan Wright until the truck was replaced by Hooked that May, resulting in the truck's retirement. The truck is one of the shortest running trucks with a competition span of just 7 months & 8 days.

History[]

Monster Magic made its official competition debut on December 10, 2011, at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minnesota with Morgan Kane behind the wheel. During its debut show, Kane and the truck would win the racing championship, defeating Ryan Anderson in Son-Uva Digger.

In 2012, Kane would begin driving the second Stone Crusher, and Bryan Wright, who previously drove the said truck, took over the driving duties for Monster Magic. Wright would continue to drive the truck until May 12, when Hooked was created and unveiled to the public the following day at that year's Monsters on the Beach at Virginia Beach, Virginia. Hooked would later replace Monster Magic as the teammate to Stone Crusher, which resulted in the team quietly retiring the truck.
