The left side of the truck featured a step-up ramp with a car plateau and the traditional backflip trailer. Unlike the previous World Finals, however, two backflip trailers were featured on both sides of the track, with the right side of the track mirroring the obstacles on the left. Meanwhile, the far end of the track featured a shipping container and a backflip wall, the latter of which was used exclusively for the encore.
Special paint schemes[]
The paint scheme used by Avenger this year was a special dark red scheme. Other trucks that received special paint schemes were Bounty Hunter, which featured a special gray paint scheme, and Max-D, which received a special paint scheme by Spectra Chrome in celebration of a "Decade of Destruction."

Encore[]
The encore for World Finals XIV celebrated the tenth anniversary (Dubbed as a "Decade of Destruction") for Team Max-D. The encore began with Neil Elliott, Kreg Christensen, and Chuck Werner all performing backflips in sync off of the backflip wall at the far end of the track all in their respective Max-D trucks. Afterward, Tom Meents (With his Max-D truck perched atop a Max-D-themed dump truck) came out, and attempted a double backflip, almost successfully executing the stunt.

Trivia[]
- This event marked the first World Finals in which the Young Guns Shootout champion would earn the final slot in the main field.
- This event marked the only World Finals to feature a twenty-eight truck lineup for the main event.
- This event marked the last of the following occurrences:
- The last World Finals (so far) to have any of the competitors not compete in the freestyle competition, being Bounty Hunter, which blew an engine during the racing competition.
- The last World Finals to be announced by Mark Schroeder.
- The last World Finals to be broadcasted on the Speed channel.
- This would originally be the last World Finals to have all competitions held on the same day, until 2023, where World Finals XXII would unexpectedly have all competitions be held one day. Ironically, the change would be made a decade after World Finals XIV.
- Superman was run on the Wolverine chassis for both racing and freestyle competitions, due to the former truck's chassis blowing an engine during qualifying.
- Carl Van Horn filled in for Norm Miller during the freestyle competition due to Miller falling ill prior to said competition.
- Iron Man was offered a second qualifying run, however, driver Lee O'Donnell declined the offer, and Meents would finish as the fastest qualifier.
- Bad Habit used the incorrect theme song during its freestyle performance. This was caused by an audio glitch in the computer (which was used to play the theme songs during the freestyle performances) during the performance, in which it would play "Under The Knife" by Rise Against but instead, it played "Sound Off" by TRAPT (Razin Kane's theme).
- Similar to World Finals VI, this event served as a "transitional year" in which the number of slots in the main field would increase by having four additional slots added, before transitioning to a new standard number of slots the following year.
