Trivia[]
- This event marked the television debuts of Courtney Jolly and Damon Bradshaw and the return of Mike Wine after a decade away from driving.
- Dennis Anderson would break his wrist during qualifying, putting him out for the whole season and missing his 25th anniversary year with the exception of World Finals and quarter 2 of 2007.
- This event marked the least amount of competitors for freestyle in any Metrodome show with that being 6, due to Hot Wheels and Escalade having truck issues.
