Mikeal "Mike" Christensen (born August 5th) is a second generation monster truck driver out of Ogden, Utah. He is the driver of Vendetta for Team Throttle Monster since 2018. He is also one of Kreg Christensen's sons and was teammates with his brother Paul Jensen, who drives Jurassic Attack.

Career[]

Mike started his career with his father, Kreg Christensen's team, Team KCM. He drove trucks such as Kaptain Insano & D'Sturbed in 2006 at the first Anaheim show, as well as crewed for them.

After Kreg retired Team KCM in 2009, Mike continued to crew for multiple teams, most notably crewing for Linsey Weenk and the Lucas Oil Crusader.

In 2011, he would drive Batman in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

In 2016, Mike joined 2Xtreme Racing and drove Iron Outlaw full time in 2017.

In late 2018, Mike left 2Xtreme and rejoined the new Team KCM, driving Vendetta, which he continues to pilot today.

In 2020, he won the Toughest Monster Truck Tour.

In 2022, Mike competed on Stadium Series Yellow, but finished last. Near the end of the tour, he dislocated his shoulder and had Chris Koehler drive Vendetta in Syracuse and Alex Blackwell in East Rutherford for the last stops of the tour. He also made a brief appearance on Arena Series East.

In 2023, Mike drove Vendetta on Stadium Series Red. He got his first freestyle win in Monster Jam in Houston. Then in Minneapolis, he got his first Great Clips skills challenge win along with his first overall event championship. At the Sunday show in Detroit, he did a backflip & landed awkwardly. He did a sidewall save attempt, which failed. Michael Pagliarulo drove Vendetta for Mike in Atlanta. Mike finishes 11th in the final standings. At World Finals XXII, he would win the Breakout Driver of the Year award with Camden Murphy. In October, Mike wins the West Coast Monster Truck Nationals in Red Bluff, California.

In 2024, Mike competes on the west stadium tour, finishing 12th. He wins the racing competition at San Diego show 1 against Adam Anderson. After missing 4 straight freestyles from Anaheim (Feb. 18 - Arlington), he would finally compete in said competition in El Paso on Saturday night. Mike missed a total of 7 freestyles & 2 Great Clips skills challenges. Despite the bad luck, he would be invited to compete in the Last Chance Qualifying event at the World Finals, where he would lose the final race to his team mate, David Olfert in Velociraptor. At the October Arlington show, Mike got his second stadium event championship.

In 2025, Mike will compete on the East stadium tour.
