Megalodon Neon was a special variant of the Megalodon monster truck, owned by FELD Motorsports and driven by Todd LeDuc. It would make its debut at Monster Jam World Finals XXII and would later compete at the Monster Jam Superstar Challenge in Anaheim in November as a part of Team Neon.
History[]
Megalodon Neon was first unveiled at the Monster Jam World Finals XXII Press Conference during the announcement of the Nitro vs. Neon team battle that would be happening at the Monster Jam Superstar Challenge as Team Captain Krysten Anderson revealed Todd LeDuc as her first pick for Team Neon. it would later be used in competition as a way to distinguish Todd LeDuc and Cory Rummell's Megalodon trucks. During the event, Todd and the truck would lose in round 2 to eventual champion Tristan England and would perform well in freestyle, finishing in third place on the podium. During said freestyle, Todd would land a famously high backflip, being considered one of the highest in competition history. He would later reveal in a post-run interview that he was attempting a double backflip, but backed off mid-flip due to not having enough rotation to land said move. It later appeared in Monster Jam Showdown as one of the selectable liveries for Megalodon.
