Megalodon Fire was a custom shark monster truck owned by FELD Motorsports. It was driven by Cory Rummell and was the Fire & Ice counterpart to Megalodon. The truck was primarily run on the Rage chassis, but was also run on a chassis owned by FELD Motorsports one time.

History[]

Megalodon Fire was originally announced in 2018 as one of six new Fire & Ice trucks for the 2019 Monster Jam season kickoff. The truck began competition the following year on January 12, at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, with Cory Rummell driving. Rummell and the truck competed in Stadium Championship Series 3, winning two Two-Wheel Skills Challenge championships back-to-back in Glendale and San Diego, respectively, as well as an overall event championship in Anaheim. This ultimately resulted in Megalodon Fire finishing eighth in series standings. Rummell and Megalodon Fire would be invited to compete in the inaugural high jump competition at Monster Jam World Finals XX. Following the World Finals, they would automatically be invited to compete in the inaugural All-Star Challenge in Las Vegas. Prior to said event, however, Justin Sipes would run the body on his Megalodon chassis for a Monster Jam event in Glendale, where he would win the racing competition over Ryan Anderson. Meanwhile, the All-Star Challenge would also be Megalodon Fire's final event, as it would be retired afterward.
