The Max-D Stunt Truck is a stunt chassis built by Tom Meents. The original stunt chassis was formerly Goldberg 1. It was first used for attempting the double backflip and frontflip stunts. It featured a much shorter wheelbase than a standard Meents chassis to aid in stunts. It also typically has a more complex rim design. It used to run a chrome version of the standard Max-D body. The truck also ran as Battlecorn in 2015, Rod Ryan Show in 2016, Monster Jam 25th Anniversary at the World Finals in 2017, Rampage George at the World Finals in 2018, Lucas Oil Crusader in one show that same year, Monster Jam Stunt Truck, and Monster Energy in 2020. The original stunt chassis was retired following a failed stunt while attempting to break world records as Monster Energy in 2020. Following this, Max-D 8 would become the next stunt truck. Said truck was retired from competition in 2021 after a failed backflip attempt. This truck would run as the Monster Jam Stunt Truck at the World Finals in 2022 and then as ThunderROARus at the World Finals in 2023 and then at the 2023 Monster Jam Superstar Challenge.
