Maniac is a Chevrolet monster truck owned by Don Frankish out of Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada and currently leased to and driven by Dave Smith out of Stanwood, Washington since 2016. The truck was known for its fast racing style and aggressive freestyle, gaining a solid fanbase in the mid to late 2000's.

Background[]
Frankish created the truck in 1984 as a mud bogger and would turn it into a full blown monster truck in 1989.
1995[]
The truck would receive a new PEI Chassis along with a new body.
2011[]
Frankish leased the name and truck to Trent Hickie, who redesigned the truck with a new body, and a new chassis being the former Jurassic Attack. The old PEI chassis would then be sold to Dean Busschau, who would attempt to convert the chassis into his planned truck, Stripling Warrior.
2016[]
The truck began being leased to Dave Smith, who has driven it ever since.
