M2D Camo Thunder was a Chevrolet truck owned by Dan Rodoni and was driven by Andrew Peckham and Mike Pappas. The truck debuted in 2011 and was discontinued in 2012. The truck competed on the Tropical Thunder chassis.
Design Inspiration[]
The trucks color scheme and design was created by Sparky Sparkes of M2D Camo. M2D Camo is an innovative camouflage pattern originally designed to be worn in the CRP fields of the Pacific Northwest. Although the concept originated from the need for a camouflage pattern specific to this region, the versatility of the Camo pattern allows it to adapt to a wide variety of hunting environments, including majestic mountains, sagebrush flats, river valley bottoms, marshes, to wide open fields.
Product branding[]
In 2012, Hot Wheels included the M2D Camo Thunder monster truck in its Grave Digger 30th Anniversary series. M2D Camo Thunder monster truck was available in 1:24 and 1:64 scale sizes. M2D Camo Thunder merchandise such as shirts, hoodies, hats and more are available from M2D Camo's website.
