Kevin Lewis (Born September 8th, 1983) is a former driver out of Paxton, Illinois. He is best known for being a driver of Team Meents.

Career[]

Kevin began in the industry as a result of his residence in Tom Meents' hometown of Paxton, Illinois. His aunt lived down the road from Tom's parents back when Tom was still driving Shake Me in mud racing. Kevin later became friends with Phil Foster and started visiting Tom's shop regularly. Kevin soon began working on Tom's trucks in the shop and later started travelling to shows, eventually working his way up to become a full-time crew member for Team Meents.[1]

In 2005, Kevin began his driving career behind the wheel of of Hot Wheels, touring with Phil Foster throughout the season. However, he would soon return to becoming just a crew member and transitioned to a back-up driver if any trucks were in need of one for shows.

In 2006, Kevin drove Bob & Tom in Roanoke and won racing on the first show.

In 2008, Kevin drove Maximum Destruction in both Sunday Tacoma shows as a fill-in for Neil Elliott. He also drove Bulldozer in Phoenix and Vancouver as a fill-in for Chuck Werner, who had suffered a foot injury.

In 2009, Kevin drove El Toro Loco in Englishtown and drove Bulldozer again in Glendale. He would also drive Bulldozer for the truck's final show in Turlock before it was retired.

In 2010, Kevin drove The Patriot in Monroe as a fill-in for Dan Rodoni.

In 2012, Kevin drove M2D Camo Thunder in Albuquerque.

In 2015, Kevin returned to drive Stone Crusher in Foxborough and later Hooked in Oklahoma City.

In 2017, Kevin debuted and drove Basher for the truck's first year. This is his most recent driving tole to date.
