John Killinger (born April 20th) is a part-time monster truck driver out of Glenburn Center, Maine. He has driven many trucks, most notably Backdraft and Storm Damage.
Career[]
From 2006-2008, John drove Backdraft for Andy Slifko.
In 2009, John left Slifko’s team and began driving Excaliber for Sudden Impact Racing, before retiring.
In 2016, John returned and began driving Storm Damage. That same year, he drove Wrecking Crew in Toronto. In the summer, he drove Lumberjack for select shows.
In 2017, John drove Storm Damage on Stadium Championship Series 4 jointly with Tim Mente.
In 2021, John drove Avalanche for Monster Truckz events.
In 2022, John drove Aftershock in Bangor, Maine.
In 2024, John returned to drive Bone Shaker jointly with Devan Wheeler in Bridgeport, Connecticut. In September of that year, he began driving Skelesaurus as a replacement for David Smith.
