Joe Lowe (February 3rd, 1952-October 15th, 2012) was a monster truck announcer out of Owensboro, Kentucky. Before working for Monster Jam, Joe worked for WVJS as an intern. He worked at WOMI/WBKR for 15 years and had his own show: the "Joe Lowe Morning Show".
Career in Monster Jam[]
Lowe began commentating Monster Jam events in the 1990’s, primarily in the Thunder Nationals and other arena events. He occasionally commentated stadium events, mainly untelevised ones. In 2003, he got his only televised appearance commentating at World Finals 4 alongside Scott Douglass and Ken Stout.

On October 15th, 2012, Joe passed away from cancer.
