Joe Foley (Born November 23rd) is a monster truck driver out of Leicester, Massachusetts. He is the driver of Axe for Team Scream and formerly drove El Toro Loco in Monster Jam events on his Axe chassis. He formerly worked for 2Xtreme Racing.

Career[]

Foley started working for 2xtreme Racing and made his driving debut in 2019 driving Bounty Hunter & Iron Outlaw.

In 2021, Foley started working for Team Scream and drove Brutus at the Lucas Oil Speedway that same year. He also started driving Axe. His first freestyle win was on the 20th anniversary of 9/11.

In 2022, Foley drove Spike at the Summer Smash events in Evansville, Indiana. He also drove Brutus.

In 2023, Foley made his first quarter debut with Monster Jam in Axe on the blue stadium tour, after a leaked photo showed Joe doing a photo shoot with Monster Jam, along with a happy birthday post. In Houston, he drove Rod Ryan. He would have several great freestyles and it would take until the final show of Stadium Tour Blue for Joe to get his first freestyle win in Kansas City. He would finish last on Stadium Tour Blue. He would drive Brutus again, this time in Lindsay, Ontario and won skills & freestyle. Although he wasn't announced to compete in Monster Jam's Superstar Challenge, his truck made an appearance at the event as Soldier Fortune Black Ops for a display since the event was on Veteran's Day.

In 2024, he drives El Toro Loco on the Axe chassis on the west stadium tour & finished 8th. He would win freestyle in the first show of the second weekend in San Diego, at the cost of his truck bursting into flames. He would also grab another during the second show in Anaheim during the second weekend there, then a 3rd in Houston, followed by a fourth during the third weekend in Anaheim during its second show. He would make an appearance on Inside Monster Jam. He would win his 5th freestyle of the year in Glendale. He would be invited to the Last Chance Qualifying event at the World Finals where he used the Nitro body. In East Rutherford, Axe runs a new American flag design. For certain independent shows, the regular body was used. Joe would drive Avenger in Fremont, Michigan. In Granby, Quebec, he drove Avenger again.

In 2025, he returned to driving Axe & competed on the East stadium tour. In Houston, he drove The Rod Ryan Show again. In East Rutherford, the American flag design was used. Joe finished 11th in the final standings.
