Jim Leahy (May 14th, 1955-September 25th, 2024) was a driver out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania who was best known for owning and driving The Broker.
Career[]
Before getting into monster trucks, Leahy was an insurance broker, which would be the inspiration for the name of his truck "The Broker", which he debuted in 2002.
In 2005, Lou Antonozzi joined Jim's team and became a co-driver for The Broker.
In 2006, Leahy got his only televised appearance at the final Pontiac event. His freestyle was cut from the SPEED airing, but was shown on the Crash Madness 5 DVD and the European broadcast.
In 2010, Leahy sold The Broker and retired from monster trucks.

Leahy passed away from cancer on September 25th, 2024, at the age of 69.
