Jekyll & Hyde is a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado monster truck driven by Kory Kinal and owned by 2Xtreme Racing out of Tonganoxie, Kansas.

History[]

2017[]

Jekyll & Hyde debuted as the successor to Knucklehead with Austin Minton behind the wheel. At the time of its debut, the truck campaigned a 2005 Ford Expedition body style, similar to all other 2Xtreme Racing trucks.

2018[]

Jekyll & Hyde competed as a second Bounty Hunter for Monster Jam Stadium Championship Series 4, and eventually the Double Down Showdown at Monster Jam World Finals XIX, with Minton driving. Following the first quarter, Jekyll & Hyde would make its first Monster Jam appearance at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California on April 28th.

2019[]

Jekyll & Hyde competed on Triple Threat Series West, running as Megalodon. After the series, Minton would be hired out by Vaters Motorsports to drive Taurus for the remainder of the season, resulting in various drivers, including David Olfert, driving the truck. Kristen Hope drove the truck in Austin, Texas as a last-minute replacement for Iron Outlaw. The truck would also compete as Bounty Hunter for select shows, and even run as The Dublin Smasher for a show in Dublin, Georgia on November 2nd. Tanner Root drove the truck in Denver, Colorado.

2020[]

Jekyll & Hyde would again compete as Megalodon on Triple Threat Series West. After the series abruptly ended in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Jekyll & Hyde would compete in select shows for the remainder of the season. The truck would also debut a brand-new dual-sided design, featuring a new Chevrolet Silverado body style. In October, Roy Pridgeon drove the truck in Green Cove Springs, Florida, and Travis Mowery drove it in Pine Hill, North Carolina.

2021[]

Tyler Senger drove the truck in Eldon, Missouri, and Michael Brister drove it in Peotone, Illinois.

2022[]

In June, Rob Poutre takes over the driving duties. It would receive another updated dual-sided paint scheme. In May, Nathan Weenk drove the truck in Ottawa. In August, Darren Migues drove the truck in Geary, New Brunswick.

2023[]

The truck would return back to the 2005 Ford Expedition body. In April, Austin Minton returned to drive the truck in Eldon, Missouri, before being shelved following the debut of Shark Bite.

2024[]

On September 21st, the truck returned to competition on the former Scarlet Bandit chassis with Kory Kinal driving.

2025[]

In 2025, the Chevrolet Silverado body returns.
