Instigator was a 2008 Ford F-250 Super Duty monster truck created by Lionel Easler. Originally created in 2006, Easler campaigned the truck until 2012, when he sold the truck to Paul Breaud of Xtreme Monster Sports, Inc. who continued to operate it until 2023, when the truck would be converted into Fire Hazzard.

History[]

Instigator was created back in 2006, after Lionel Easler acquired the second Bad Influence from Donny Smith. Easler campaigned the truck until 2012, when he sold the truck to Paul Breaud of Xtreme Monster Sports, Inc.

Following Breaud’s acquisition of Instigator, the truck debuted a brand-new paint scheme in 2013. Instigator debuted another paint scheme the following year, featuring a goblin character on the side panels.

Beginning in 2016, Xtreme Monster Sports, Inc received a sponsorship with Moonshine Camo. As a result, Instigator debuted an alternate paint scheme.

In 2017, another new paint scheme would debut as the truck competed in Monster Jam Arena Championship Series 4.

In 2018, Breaud moved to Backdraft, after Ty Cornelius retired due to a chronic back illness. As a result, rookie driver Barry Leader took over the driving duties.

In 2019, Instigator would debut a new paint scheme the following year, replacing the goblin character with that of an alligator. Buddy Young would drive the truck in July. Buddy Love drove the truck in Middletown New York. That year, the truck would also run as Bone Shaker for the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live event in Winnipeg, MB. Also, that year, Leader left Xtreme Monster Sports, and would be succeeded by Bill Solly. Rob Poutre would start to drive the truck sharing driving duties with Solly.

In 2022, Justin Gladfelter would take over the driving duties.

In 2023, a successor truck debuts, that being Fire Hazzard.
