Trivia[]

  • This was the final fully televised event held in the RCA Dome on SPEED. The venue's last three events held were televised in Europe and the 2006-2007 events were aired as "Around the USHRA" segments. The 2008 event was planned to air on SPEED, but was cut for unknown reasons. It was also the last fully televised event in the city of Indianapolis until 2009 at their inaugural event at Lucas Oil Stadium.
  • This event marked the debut of Bob & Tom, originally as a one-off, before returning in 2006.
  • Guy Wood blew a transmission after winning racing, thus why he didn't freestyle.
  • This event marked the SPEED debuts of Jim Bendzick, Dave Rappach and Alex Blackwell.
