Hot Wheels Racing 1 is a custom trophy truck monster truck owned by Mattel that competed exclusively in Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live. It was primarily driven by Christian Norman on the Bigfoot 18 chassis, with Rebecca Schnell also driving the truck on the Bigfoot 15 chassis.
History[]
Hot Wheels Racing 1 debuted on January 5, 2019 with Christian Norman behind the wheel. By the end of the 2019 season, Hot Wheels Racing 1 received an updated paint scheme, with was first unveiled at the final show of the tour in Trenton. Sometime later, a second truck was added to the team, with Rebecca Schnell driving on the Bigfoot 15 chassis as part of the 2020 European tour. Meanwhile, Norman continued to drive his truck as part of the North American tour until Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live ceased operations in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Hot Wheels Racing 1 would be featured as part of the Hot Wheels Ultimate Drive-Thru, displayed on the Bigfoot 18 chassis. It would also be featured as part of the groundbreaking ceremony for Mattel Adventure Park on the Bigfoot 19 chassis. Hot Wheels Racing 1 would be retired afterwards, replaced by the similarly themed Race Ace. In 2024, the truck returned in Lyon, France for the Hot Wheels Monster Trucks International Tour. It was run on Crusher.
