Holeshot (also labeled as Holeshot Quad Chaos) is a custom ATV concept monster truck created by Badlands Racing as a teammate to Quad Chaos. It was driven by Kevin King & James Owens, but was notably driven by Zack Garner and Daron Basl. In December 2022, the truck was purchased by James Trantina III of Triple B Motorsports. In June 2023, Holeshot would be placed on hiatus with the chassis being used as the 30th anniversary Monster Patrol truck. The chassis would later start running as Lone Wolf in 2024.
History[]
2022[]
Holeshot debuted for the Monsters at the Beach event, driven by Zach Garner. The truck was originally run on what was the original Bad Habit (originally Tim Tesmer's Carolina Crusher). It would then compete for numerous shows for the rest of the year, with Daron Basl as the driver. In December, the name and body were sold to James Trantina III. The original chassis was converted into Block Head.
2023[]
The truck is run on the former FTI Torque chassis, with Kevin King driving the truck for a few shows, before James Owens takes over full-time as the driver. In late June, the Holeshot body would be removed from that chassis for the 30th Anniversary Monster Patrol body to be put on for the 4-Wheel Jamboree series starting in July. James Owens starts driving the truck.
2024[]
The truck’s chassis would continue to compete under the Monster Patrol identity. Monster Patrol would later return to compete on the Jail Bird chassis with Holeshot’s chassis becoming Lone Wolf.
