Greg Winchenbach (Born March 8th, 1973) is a monster truck driver out of Jefferson, Maine. He is the owner and driver of Crushstation since 2010. He shares driving duties with his son Zack Winchenbach. Greg quickly became a fan favorite across the monster truck tour, including competing in two Young Guns Shootout championships. He bought a PEI chassis from Ed Eckert & it became Lumberjack.

Career[]

Greg started off by driving Radioactive for Allen Pezo.

In 1999, Greg bought a new chassis from Dan Patrick, but was shelved for ten years due to Greg's busy schedule, before digging it up and finishing the truck. The idea came from Maine's main export: lobsters (also the truck is nicknamed "The Monstah Lobstah").

He would debut Crushstation in the Summer of 2009.

In 2010, Greg was unfortunately involved in an incident where he didn't see announcer Ken Dickenson and hit him, knocking him over, luckily, Dickenson survived but suffered a broken pelvis. He made a full recovery.

In 2013 & 2014, he competes in the Young Guns Shootout. Also in 2014, a new blue Crushstation debuts & does events in Greg's home state of Maine.

In 2015, Wichenbach wins the first Monster Truck Throwdown championship. Winchenbach and the truck would win another championship in the tour the following year.

In 2022, Greg made his Monster Jam return driving Jester in Nashville for Stadium Tour Red's arena stop as the teammate to Nick Pagliarulo's Kraken. His son Zach drove Crushstation in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan in July and at West Lebanon and beyond. For the Benson events, Matt Pagliarulo would drive the truck.

In 2024, he tours with his son Zack. Crushstation struck a power line and dragged down poles with live wires on top of the crowd at the Topsham Fairgrounds in Maine. Spectators barely had a moment to marvel at the flying metallic lobster when the truck hit a power line above the ring. A few people were injured. It was the promoters fault for not seeing the power line. This occurred during his freestyle run. The lobster-themed truck was performing in the weekend’s Renegade Monster Truck Tour.
