Grave Digger 38 is the thirty-seventh Grave Digger chassis, and the fifth constructed by Carroll Racing Development. It was one of three brand new Grave Diggers that debuted in late 2018, alongside Grave Digger 36 and Grave Digger 37.

History[]

2018[]

Grave Digger 38 debuted in Macon, Georgia on November 30th, the same day as Grave Digger 37, with Morgan Kane debuting the truck.

2019[]

Charlie Pauken would take over as the main driver of the truck as a replacement for Grave Digger 27, while Morgan moved to Grave Digger 37.

The truck was used at World Finals XX as Grave Digger Fire and later used as part of the World Strongest Man competition.

In October, the truck would compete as Grave Digger Fire for the All-Star Challenge.

2020[]

The truck would end up winning the shortened Stadium Tour Yellow under Charlie Pauken.

2022[]

The truck competed overseas in the London show with Randy Brown driving.

2023[]

After Randy left the team, Matt Cody took over driving duties on the International Tour.

2024[]

The truck would compete on the Arena Series West tour, after Brandon Vinson had quietly left the sport after the Denver events, Matt Cody would take over the reins for the remainder of the season, Tyler Menninga would fill-in for Matt in Fresno.

2025[]

Matt Cody runs the truck on Arena Series Central. The truck suffers a major crash during show #2 in Newark, requiring parts of the chassis to be replaced mid-show in order to finish the event.

Trivia[]

  • Despite being named Grave Digger 38, this truck actually debuted before Grave Digger 37 did.
