Trivia

• This was Monster Jam's first event held in Gothenburg and was the only event to be televised on SPEED.
• This was the first European event to be broadcast on SPEED aside from past European events that were shown in Around the USHRA segments.
• This event marked the first televised appearance of European drivers Anders Flogard and Karl Swallow along with their respected trucks.
• This event marked the only televised appearance for Karl Swallow and Slingshot on SPEED (Karl would compete in Cardiff that October however the event was only aired in Europe).
• This event marked the only televised appearance of Jetix on SPEED.
• This event was famous for Tom Meents in Maximum Destruction performing the first known instance of a backflip in monster truck history in the evening show, although it is debated whether or not it can be considered a backflip.
• Both shows were shown on the SPEED broadcast, but the racing events only showed the semi-finals and championship race so it could fit into a 45-minute episode.
• The freestyle portion of the SPEED broadcast was a combination of both shows, however the European broadcast showed the freestyle purely from the evening show, meaning the latter broadcast featured somewhat rare content (clips had been shown in Crash Madness 5 however).
