Grave Digger 25 was the twenty-fifth Grave Digger truck, built by FELD Motorsports. While the chassis was modern, like most Grave Digger chassis built at the time, it did feature a shock package that was similar to that of Grave Digger 12. Originally constructed in 2011, it was first driven by Gary Porter until 2014, then Colton Eichelberger in 2015, and finally Morgan Kane in 2016, where it would become notable for winning the 2016 Monster Jam World Racing Championship. Grave Digger 25 was retired by the end of 2016, when it was succeeded by Grave Digger 33.
History[]
Grave Digger 25 was originally constructed in 2011, and began competition that same year, with Gary Porter driving. Porter would go on to drive the truck until the end of the 2014 season, when he moved to Carolina Crusher for the following season.
Following Porter's departure from the Grave Digger team, rookie driver Colton Eichelberger took over the driving duties. Both Eichelberger and the truck competed in the inaugural More Monster Jam series, and finished in the runner-up position, behind Morgan Kane in Max-D. They would later be invited to compete in Monster Jam World Finals XVI, where the truck received a special purple paint scheme for the occasion. Eichelberger and the truck would go on to be eliminated in round 2 of racing by Todd LeDuc in Metal Mulisha and finished seventeenth in freestyle.
In 2016, Morgan Kane took over the driving duties, after he would be traded for Eichelberger. Kane and the truck would compete in the Monster Jam AMSOIL Series West, which they would go on to win. This resulted in both truck and driver receiving an automatic invitation to Monster Jam World Finals XVII, where the truck received a special orange paint scheme for the occasion. Kane and the truck would eventually go on to win the World Racing Championship, defeating reigning champion LeDuc in Metal Mulisha, and finished sixteenth in freestyle. Kane would continue to drive Grave Digger 25 until the end of the 2016 season, when the truck was retired and replaced by Grave Digger 33.
