Dungeon of Doom was a custom monster truck driven by Bigfoot 4X4 from 1995-1998 as part of Bigfoot's WCW sponsorship. The truck was known for its skeletal appearance and white cracked paint job. It was driven by Eric Tack.
History[]
The Dungeon of Doom truck first debuted as a truck used for a stunt in an episode of WCW, where Bigfoot 8, under the guise of the Dungeon of Doom, drove over wrestler Hulk Hogan's motorcycle at Fall Brawl. At this time, the truck was only a standard pickup truck body painted to look like a skeleton. The truck made its official debut with the skeleton concept body at WCW Halloween Havoc in a monster truck sumo match against Hulkster. Doom would make its competition debut in 1995 at the RCA dome, now with the 3D body style. In 1996, the truck ran as Samson after Dan Patrick had a bad crash in Bloomsburg. In 1998, the truck was retired, and converted into the nWo The Outsiders monster truck. Once this sponsorship ended, the truck became Dr. Bonez in 1999.
Trivia[]
- One of the Snake Bite drivers (likely Ricky Rattler) drove the truck at one of its early shows.
