Darren Migues (born April 14th, 1969) is a part-time monster truck driver out of Kansas City, Missouri. Migues is the current owner of the Nitro Menace and Jail Bird names. He competed full-time from 2006-2022, but has driven sparingly since his retirement, primarily as a fill-in driver.
Career[]
Migues was hired by 2Xtreme Racing in 2006 and Migues began driving the second Bounty Hunter until 2010. Migues briefly drove Bigfoot in 2010, before being hired by Steve Sims to drive a second Stone Crusher in 2011.
In 2012, Migues went back to driving for 2Xtreme, piloting Bounty Hunter in 2012. Migues spent another period driving Bigfoot in late 2012, before again returning to 2Xtreme.
Migues drove Iron Outlaw from 2012-2013. He also drove Team Survivor, then Bounty Hunter again in 2014.
In 2014, Migues bought the Get-Er-Done and Robo Machine trucks from Mitch Tulachka. Darren also drove Just Get Er Done at least once. He would later rename the trucks to Menace and Freedom Keeper respectively.

In 2016, Migues drove Knucklehead in Cumberland, Maryland. He later debuted Jail Bird driven by his daughter Kaylyn Migues.
In 2019, Migues would drive Dragon on his Nitro Menace chassis on the Arena Championship Series and finished 4th. In May, his daughter would marry Travis Mowery.
In 2020, Migues competed on the Arena Championship Series once again in Dragon, where he would finish 6th after the tour was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
In 2021, Darren's son in-law, Travis Mowery, joined his team with new truck Extreme Attitude. He also drove Wolf's Head as the teammate to Jack Brown's FTI Torque in Omaha.
In 2022, Darren filled in for Brad Allen (whom he hired to drive Nitro Menace all season long on Arena Championship Series West) at an event in Wichita. He would win freestyle during the final show of the weekend. He also drove Jail Bird as a fill-in for Kaylyn in Denver for the same tour. Shortly afterwards, Darren would announce his retirement from driving, and would sell the Nitro Menace and Jail Bird chassis' to James Trantina III (while still keeping the names). His retirement would not last long, however, as he quickly returned to driving in July to debut Brutal at a show in Oklahoma. Since then, Darren has mainly served as a fill-in driver for various teams.
In 2023, Darren would drive Tiger Shark in Little Rock and Memphis.
In 2024, Darren would take the whole year off from driving.
In 2025, Migues would drive Brutal once again in Waco, Texas and would later drive Smashosaurus at Virginia Beach in May. He would also drive Roarin' Rex for the Okeechobee, Florida shows in December.
