Chris Lagana (born January 23rd, 1968) is a former driver out of Long Island, New York. He was best known as the driver of Michigan Ice Monster.
Career[]
Before his driving career, Chris was a chassis fabricator, building them for drag cars. He also had some racing experience in stock cars, circle track cars and mega trucks, which he also built chassis for. In 2008, Chris built the chassis for Razin Kane.[1]
In 2009, Chris started his monster truck career driving Razin Kane in Alexandria.
In 2010, Chris drove Razin Kane throughout most of the year. In September, he would join Sudden Impact Racing after being approached by Jon Zimmer.[2] He then drove Excaliber in Muskogee and Ground Pounder for the Monster Madness shows held in Ontario.
In 2011, Chris began driving Michigan Ice Monster. He drove this truck until it was retired in 2012.
In 2013, Chris left Sudden Impact Racing after most of the team's drivers were let go. He made one appearance during the year driving Monster Mutt Rottweiler in Tampa as a fill-in while Rod Schmidt drove Grave Digger. He would retire from driving afterwards.
Chris currently works as a supervisor for Tucker's Machine & Steel Service in Leesburg, Florida.
