Carolina Crusher was a truck owned by FELD from late 2014-2017, based off the truck of the same name.
History[]
It was driven by the original owner and creator of the truck, Gary Porter. The truck competed on Arena Tour 6 and won it. It retired midway through 2017 after the Hagerstown shows. After 2018, the lease FELD had with Paul Shafer Motorsports had expired, and Tom Herzog would go on to lease the name until his passing in May 2019.
Trivia[]
- Carolina Crusher ran a modified version of Captain America's body (same basic structure, but minus the shield & wings). This is not the only truck to reuse a body mold. Snake Bite & Tailgator share a mold. Iron Man's body was reused & modified to become Alien Invasion.
- Carolina Crusher is one of the only names run by FELD that was leased.
- Randy Brown Motorsports ran the initial version of FELD's Carolina Crusher.
- Despite Captain America running a Hot Wheels diecast, Carolina Crusher's toy used a different mold.
