Camden Murphy (Born July 23rd, 1996) is a monster truck driver out of Itasca, Illinois. He is the driver of Classroom Crusher. Before then, he was the driver of Pirate's Curse from 2017-2018, and Bakugan Dragonoid from 2019-2024.
History[]
In 2017, Camden made his Monster Jam debut driving Pirate's Curse in 2017 which he drove until 2019, where he would compete on the Triple Threat Series. In 2017 drove on the Triple Threat Tour Central finishing second. In 2018, he finished second on Triple Threat Tour West. Although not getting any World Finals invites in the truck, he competed in the Double Down Showdown at World Finals XVIII and XIX, getting the fastest qualifying time at the 19th World Finals.
In June 2017, he drove Mohawk Warrior as a fill-in for Bryce Kenny in Foxborough, marking his stadium debut. He also served as an Fox Sports 1 commentator during late 2017 during the 2018 first quarter.
In 2019, Camden debuted the new Bakugan Dragonoid truck, as well as making his first quarter stadium debut on Stadium Championship Series #1 along with Megalodon driver Justin Sipes. He would have great success during the season, getting 6 racing wins, a freestyle win, and two skills challenge wins. He made his first World Finals appearance at World Finals XX where he would make it the semi-finals and finished second in freestyle, notably suffering a violent crash where the front axle would completely twist. He was awarded the Rising Star award for his improvements during the season. He would later compete in the All-Star Challenge where he would finish in second in the Vegas-racing competition to Coty Saucier.
In 2020, Camden would compete on Stadium Series Yellow, where he would have a well-documented rivalry with Charlie Pauken. In Oakland, he tied Coty Saucier for the win in the skills challenge, but Camden won since he put up the score first, making this the first tied score since the JudgesZone scoring system was introduced. The series would abruptly end due to the Covid-19 pandemic and Charlie Pauken would be crowned the champion because of so, with Camden finishing in second by one point.
In 2021, Ryan Anderson would drive Camden's truck due to his (Ryan) not being available to fulfil sponsor obligations and Camden being on hiatus, where Ryan would win the series.
In 2022, Camden would return, competing on Stadium Series Yellow again where he would finish in third, with Ryan Anderson ironically defending his championship. Camden would receive an invite to World Finals XXI, where he would finish 14th in freestyle and last in the skills challenge. He would later compete on the summer stadium shows where he would win two consecutive overall event wins, even losing a perfect event in Cleveland by 0.001 point to Mark List in the skills challenge. In Nashville, he would drive for both NASCAR & Monster Jam in the same weekend. In October, he competed on the Australia tour, where he won both racing events and both overall event championships in Melbourne.
In 2023, Camden competed on the Stadium Series Red tour where he would finish second to Adam Anderson in the final standings. He drove Blue Thunder for the Johannesburg, South Africa event and won racing. He would later be invited to World Finals XXII, where he finished as the fastest qualifier and ultimately came second to Tristan England in Earth Shaker in racing. He would also place third and fourth in the two-wheel skills and high jump competitions respectively. He competed on Team Neon for the Superstar Challenge in Anaheim on November 11th.
In 2024, Camden competed on the Stadium Series West tour & finished 3rd. In Arlington, he would have an insane freestyle with multiple saves, which resulted in chassis damage. He would be invited to World Finals XXlll in Los Angeles. In October, he drove The Amazing Spider-Man for its US debut in Glendale, Houston and Arlington. In November, it was revealed that Camden will drive the new Classroom Crusher monster truck for the 2025 Monster Jam season.
In 2025, Camden competes on the Stadium Series East tour in the new Classroom Crusher. He finished 3rd in the final standings. Prior to his freestyle at show 1 in San Antonio, he threw a Green Eggs & Ham book out of the window. After his skills challenge in Philadelphia, he bit an apple & threw it out of the window. He would also win everything at that event, which was his first career event sweep. Camden is invited to compete in the World Finals. He would later compete in the fall stadium points tour.
In 2026, he will compete on Stadium Championship Series East.

- He is a part-time NASCAR driver, most recently driving for Nitro Motorsports in the General Tire 150 at Dover Motor Speedway.
- Camden has also made 29 starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series, as well as 7 starts in the NASCAR XFINITY series, & 1 in the ARCA Menards Series. He earned a career best finish of 13th out of 40 entries in 2021, driving for NEMCO Motorsports. In his most recent race attempt for 2023 NASCAR Xfinity series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Camden Murphy would have sponsorship from fellow Monster Jam driver Jamey Garner, however Murphy would fail to qualify for the race.
- Camden has been an ambassador for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland & Northwest Indiana since 2014.
- Camden was shown driving Grave Digger on the 2025 "Blippi's Job Show" on Netfilx. He would tell Blippi and Meekah about Grave Digger and Monster Jam trucks.
- Camden is currently in a relationship with Megalodon driver Angelina Nock.
