Buddy is a monster truck owned by Monster Events and is driven by Brock Thomas. It was formerly known as Scooby Doo (Australia). It runs the same design as its predecessor with approval from Warner Bros. Greg Baker was one of the drivers.
History[]
- 2017 - Buddy debuts after the Scooby Doo truck loses its sponsorship from Warner Bros, as it became too expensive to run the name.
- 2018 - Hayden McLeary lands a backflip attempt with Buddy making him the first Australian to do so. In October, the truck is run as Monster Mutt on the Monster Jam Australian Tour with Jack Monkhouse driving.
- 2019 - The body is run on the first Scooby Doo (Australia) KCM chassis, as the previous one is used for Revenge.
- 2020 - A spare Buddy body is used for Madusa (2020). Brock Thomas becomes the main driver for the truck, getting racing wins at Monster Truck Rumble in Adelaide and Monster Trucks Unleashed at Perth.
- 2021 - Brock continues to drive the truck.
