Bryce Kenny (born January 1st) is a monster truck driver out of Kernersville, North Carolina. He was the driver of the Great Clips Mohawk Warrior from 2017-2024. Before monster trucks, he met Morgan Kane at Campbell University and that was how he got into the sport.
Career[]
Bryce made his debut driving Monster Mutt in 2016.
In 2017, Bryce moved to Mohawk Warrior following George Balhan's retirement. He would be invited to World Finals 18 where he finished 8th in freestyle.
In 2018, Bryce competed on Stadium Championship Series 1 and finished 6th.
In 2019, Bryce finished 5th on Stadium Championship Series 2. He won the Save of the Year award that year.
In 2020, Bryce competed on Stadium Championship Series 1 and finished 5th, after the tour was cut short. In August, Kenny set a world record for the fastest speed in a monster truck at 100.3 miles per hour in 2020. That was later beaten in 2022 by Joe Sylvester in Bad Habit.
In 2021, Bryce finished 5th on the lone stadium tour. He had an insane save attempt during the skills challenge in Indianapolis. The truck fell forward, but Bryce gassed it. The truck fell on its side & spun around, but he couldn't save it. Bryce won the Outreach award that year.
In 2022, Bryce competed on Stadium Tour Red and finished 5th. In Philadelphia, he won freestyle by doing 2 consecutive backflips, just like George Balhan did at World Finals 13, ten years before.
In 2023, Bryce competed on Stadium Tour Red again & finishes 4th. He would later be invited to World Finals 22, where he would break down before starting his freestyle run. He competed on Team Nitro for the Superstar Challenge in Anaheim on November 11th.
In 2024, Bryce competed on the east stadium tour, finishing 4th. He was on a different tour than Adam Anderson for the first time in several years. At show 2 of San Antonio, he would pull off a spin 360 move which he has nicknamed “Monster Jam Freestyle.” The move was also known to be a mid-air flat spin. At show 2 in St. Louis, he did 2 consecutive backflips & won. He won freestyle in Atlanta on Saturday night with a huge leap, which might be one of the highest leaps ever in Monster Jam. Bryce would win the Extreme Air award for this. He would be invited to World Finals XXlll in Los Angeles. Great Clips Mohawk Warrior's last scheduled show was in Vancouver at the end of September.
In 2025, he will compete on the West stadium tour in Monster Mutt for the first time since he made his debut in that truck in 2016.
