Bruce Haney (Born October 30th, 1960) is a retired monster truck owner and driver out of Bronson, Florida. He was the creator and original owner of Bad News Travels Fast from 1998-2011.
Career[]
Before getting into monster trucks, Haney raced motocross and later moved to dirt track racing.
Haney began driving monster trucks in 1998.
In 2006, Haney drove T-Maxx in Beaumont.
In 2008, Haney was a nominee for the Monster Jam Crash Madness Award for his most well-known roll in Des Moines.
In 2011, Haney sold the truck to Brandon Derrow, who continues to drive it today. He retired shortly thereafter.
In 2012, Haney drove Desperado as a one-time fill-in at the Jackson County Fair.
