Brianna Mahon (Born March 6th, 1990) is a monster truck driver out of Sullivan, Illinois. She is the current driver of Scooby-Doo! and had previously driven Madusa and Whiplash. She has said that she doesn't know if Whiplash will return. One of her crew chiefs was David Olfert.
Career[]
Before getting into monster trucks, Brianna was a dancer when she was 3 years old. Brianna also did tap, jazz, ballet, tumbling & show choir. She was involved in dirt bike racing until a career ending injury. She then turned to Motocross & oval track Micro Sprint racing, then monster trucks.
Brianna made her debut in 2015 along with Bailey Shea as the additions to the Scooby-Doo team for the year. She served as the alternate for the More Monster Jam Tour. She won racing in her first weekend of competition in Manchester, New Hampshire. Her first freestyle win was in London, Ontario. She got her first stadium wheelie win in Brussels, Belgium. Brianna was later invited to the same years Young Guns Shootout this time, driving Madusa as a fill in for teammate Madusa. In June, Brianna drove El Toro Loco in Brussels. She won Rookie of the Year.
In 2016, Brianna competed in the Monster Jam AMSOIL Series East tour. At World Finals XVII, she again drove Madusa as a fill-in, this time due to Madusa's injury. She landed her first backflip. This is her favorite memory. She would also drive Madusa for an additional televised event, and one European tour show.
In 2017, Brianna competed in the FS1 East Championship Series.
In 2018, Brianna debuted a new truck called Whiplash & competed on Monster Jam Stadium Tour 1. Halfway through the tour, she sustained an injury after a hard landing from a corkscrew attempt. She sat out two events from the tour, before making a full recovery. Cynthia Gauthier filled in for her missed events.
In 2019, Brianna once again campaigned Whiplash on a stadium tour. She gets another World Finals invite and finishes third in freestyle. She is voted into the first ever All-Star Challenge and won the best trick competition. She drove Wonder Woman in Manchester.
In 2020, Brianna competed on Stadium Series Yellow. She would finish seventh after the tour ended prematurely due to the pandemic.
In 2021, Brianna returned to driving Scooby-Doo! for select events.
In 2022, Brianna returned to Whiplash on the east arena tour & finished 4th. Brianna returned to the World Finals again. In London, she drove Monster Mutt Dalmatian. She was originally slated to drive Whiplash for the Australia tour, but fell through after she announced her pregnancy. Kayla Blood drove her truck for her and won freestyle in Melbourne at show 1.
In 2023, Brianna went on maternity leave since her baby was due in March. She would make her comeback to Monster Jam first as a professional judge at World Finals XXII and return as a competitor in Monster Mutt Dalmatian in Rosemont, Illinois and Hampton, Virginia in late 2023.
In 2024, Brianna returned to driving Scooby-Doo! on Arena Championship Series Central to temporarily replace Linsey Read, since she was filling in for Cynthia Gauthier who was pregnant. She finished 3rd. Brianna would be invited to World Finals XXlll in Los Angeles. She would later become the full-time driver of Scooby-Doo again, as Linsey would leave the sport following the World Finals to spend time with her family.
In 2025, she competes on the West arena tour for the first time, finishing 4th. Brianna is invited to compete at the World Finals.
