Brad Allen (Born March 15th, 1988) is a part time monster truck driver out of Hubbard Lake, Michigan. He is best known for driving Mega-Bite.
Career[]
Before driving Brad was a crew member for Team Scream until 2012.
Brad would make his competition debut driving Spike Unleashed in Quebec City, Quebec and in Monroe, Michigan in 2012.
Then, he started driving Mega Bite on the Spike chassis in 2013. Then, when Brutus driver Chris Bergeron retired in 2013, Brad Allen drove Mega-Bite on the Brutus chassis.
Brad drove 106.7 D's The D-Molisher in the second Detroit show of 2014. In 2014, at Virginia Beach, he drove Wrecking Crew. He would then start driving Brutus full time.
In 2016, Brad would drive Brutus on the 2016 FS1 Championship Series with his teammate Jim Koehler who was in Avenger. Brad would pick up the Donut competition win in Anaheim. This would be his only win on the tour. Brad would get 7th overall in the points.
In 2017, Brad would once again drive Brutus this time on the East Championship Series. He would get the Wheelies win in New Orleans. In Houston Show 2 he would drive the Rod Ryan Show truck on his chassis. In Detroit Show 2 he drove the Joey Strong truck and would pick up another Wheelies win at the same show. Brad would finish 11th overall in the season points. He would once again run the Rod Ryan name for the October Houston show.
In 2018, Brad drove Monster Mutt Rottweiler on a Stadium Tour #1. He would finish 7th in the points and be invited to compete in that years Double Down Showdown. He would make to the 2nd round being defeated by Camden Murphy in Pirates Curse.
In 2019, Brad drove El Toro Loco on Stadium Series #1. During the Saturday Indianapolis show, he completes the 1st Mini-Flip in a stadium. He would finish 10th on his tour.
In 2020, he once again drove Monster Mutt Rottweiler on Stadium Series Red. At the Minneapolis show, he ended up doing a backflip in the skills challenge off the race lane. During the Indianapolis Saturday show, he got his first Monster Jam freestyle win in a stadium. He would place 11th in the points due to the COVID-19 Pandemic cancelling the rest of the season. He would make his return driving Overkill Evolution in Evansville, IN as a fill in for Mike Vaters II due to COVID restrictions not allowing him to leave Canada as he was visiting there during COVID.
In 2021, Brad stopped driving full time.
He made his return, driving Nitro Menace on the West Arena Tour in 2022 as the teammate to Kaylyn Migues' Jail Bird. He would finish 7th with no wins. The trucks were then sold to James Trantina. He has not driven since then.
