Monster Trucks Wiki

Blue Ribbon Bandit was a 1989 Chevrolet Silverado monster truck owned and driven by Tony Farrell out of North Vernon, Indiana. It was based on his mud dragster of the same name.

History[]

In late 1995, Farrell first bought the previous Kodiak monster truck (along with the hauler and parts) from Mark Bendler. This truck was originally the tube frame version of First Blood, built and driven by Rob Fuchs for 1993. It became Bendler's final Kodiak race truck before being sold to Farrell.

Farrell would run Blue Ribbon Bandit for about a year until sometime during 1996 when he would roll the truck over, prompting the chassis to go through extensive modifications in order to become Wild Thang in October. Farrell would then run Wild Thang until mid-2000, having sold the truck and name to Paul Shafer the previous Summer.
